New singles by Britain’s Hot Chip and American Indie band The Gossips  released a couple of catchy “pop” songs that may break them into America’s mainstream.  The Gossips song and video”Move In the Right Direction” is surprisingly “positive” and “fun”.   Hot Chip is known for their absurd videos, but their video for “Night and Day” actually has a narrative: peaceful space aliens come to earth to discover dancing hooded nuns and buff go-go male dancers.
